Brand identity pricing can vary widely. Agency prices can range from $30,000 - $200,000+. With 20+ years of experience in the industry, I’ve learned not all businesses need to spend that much money. Whether enhancing existing brand equity or starting from the ground up, I bring agency-level strategy and design skill to the same project that has a higher cost elsewhere. You are starting a business and need a logo, or you want to refine an existing identity and achieve a more polished look. You may be happy with your look and feel, colors, fonts, imagery, and style, but your logo looks dated and needs an update.
Discovery
This process helps me get to know you, your business, industry, competitors, customers, uniqueness and sets the strategy for the design work to come. A kick-off meeting and a Q&A worksheet will provide insight into your objectives. The worksheet questions will focus on items like, audience, goals and history/brand story. We will review your existing marketing materials and survey your direct competitor branding.
Logo
A logo is more than slick graphics and text. If designed well, it tells a company’s story, and helps to establish an emotional connection with your target audience. After discovery is complete, I’ll put together 2 logo concepts to present to you. Once you select a concept we can refine the details. For final delivery, I will package a final set of files suitable for applications including print, web and promotional items.
Logo color specs
To ensure your brand colors execute perfectly across various applications, I will provide a logo color sheet listing the specifications for the colors in your logo. This will include Pantone, CMYK, RGB, and hexadecimal codes to guide your print vendors and web developers.

Typography
Specifications for selected brand fonts, with examples of how to use them.
Graphic Elements
A library of lines, patterns or shapes that may be needed to support your brand’s visual theme. Example executions to show how to use them.
Brand Style Guide
A guide to provide usage rules and specifications for all of the items listed above. This will ensure consistency throughout all applications of your brand.

Your business may have many more design needs outside of a Basic Logo or Standard Brand Package. The best way to achieve your goals is to think of these additional needs in two parts. Phase 1 is the Basic Logo or Standard Brand Package. Phase 2 is applying the work in Phase 1 to the applications in Phase two.
